Digital Literacy Training

Kauai Community College OCET is offering a FREE 3-hour digital literacy training for those folks that either have no computer skills need hand-holding when it comes to computers. This class will be offered several times within May and June.

The State Department of Agriculture is accepting applications for the Micro-Grants for Food Security Program, which provides support for small-scale gardening, herding and livestock operations to help produce food in areas that are insecure.

HAF Trainings for Teachers

Hawaiʻi Agricultural Foundation (HAF) will conduct three new teacher trainings for elementary public and charter school teachers, grades 1-5 for its Where Would We Be Without Seeds and Veggie U Hawaiʻi programs. These virtual and face-to-face training sessions are open to any teacher on Kauaʻi and Hawaiʻi Island. Curriculum, resource materials and supplies (valued at $500) will be provided by HAF at no cost to participating teachers.
