Governor Ige announced today that he will delay the launch of the pre-travel testing program and that all travelers entering the State of Hawai‘i will be subject to the mandatory 14-day quarantine until Sept. 1st.
The County is soliciting proposals for projects or events that respond to the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) public health emergency.
“This program can provide payments of up to $1,500 per month for a maximum of three
months to cover rent, mortgage, and utility payments for low- to moderate-income Kaua‘i
residents who have suffered a loss of income due to the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Mayor
Derek S. K. Kawakami.
