Together We Farm Opens Online Self-Paced Courses on Soil Health, Nutrient Management, Worker Protection Standards, and Pesticide Safety to All Hawaii Farmers and Ranchers – Apply To Be Eligible To Receive Up To A $1000 Grant Upon Course Completion

West Oahu Soil and Water Conservation District and partners are offering courses on Soil Health and Nutrient Management, Worker Protection Standards, and Pesticide Safety. After completing courses, you are eligible to apply for up to $1000 of funding to implement lessons that are covered in the course.  Additional awards such as a free soil test, $50 in soil amendments/fertilizers or pesticides, and CEUs are also available. 

Courses will open Friday, April 28th, 2023. The courses are all self-paced and online and open to all Hawaiʻi residents for free. The grant application process will open on Monday, May 29th, 2023, and is open to active Statewide farmers and ranchers that operate on one or more acres. 2022 participants are not eligible to apply for 2023 grants since the course material is the same.
