Rise To Work – KGEFCU

KGEFCU has been an important partner in many economic relief programs over the last 7 months, including a zero-interest loan program and the Small Business Boost Grant.

Most recently, they have been partnering with Aloha United Way on the State of Hawaii Rental Relief Housing Assistance Program. They are committed to serving our community and helping everyone through this challenging time.

KGEFCU recently brought on 3 temporary hires with the Rise to Work Program. With the help of these hires, KGEFCU is able to make an even greater impact on the community. Hannah, Simone and Sariah take approximately 80 calls per day and assist Kauai residents with the rental relief program. Hannah shared that this work is so much more meaningful and rewarding than you can ever imagine. Thanks to their efforts and the continued work of dedicated KGEFCU staff, the rental relief program will allow Kauai residents to receive the support they need to stay in their homes.
