Rise To Work 2020
Rise to Work: The County of Kauai launched the Rise to Work program. The program was intended to create short-term employment opportunities for displaced workers on Kauai. The program was funded with Federal CARES Act funding.
From September to December 2020, there were 280 Rise to Work Hires working within our community with 100 local employers. Roles with the Rise to Work program included both full-time and part-time positions and included health insurance.
