CARES Grant – KGEFCU Meal Kit Delivery

Kauai Government Employees Federal Credit Union (KGEFCU) received a CARES Act Grant in the Food Services category for a Meal Kit Delivery Program in partnership with Common Ground Kauai.

The mission of the Meal Kit Delivery Program is to procure and distribute meal kits to elderly residents living on the north shore of Kauai. The Program will purchase products from various small businesses on Kauai who are producing Kauai-made and Kauai-produced products. This demand injection will provide much-needed revenue into the local economy and address a need for healthy, easy to prepare meals for elderly populations living on the north shore.
