Revised Kaua’i School Learning Models for QUARTER 3 sy20-21
During Mayor Kawakami’s Daily Update Video on Monday Dec 7th, Kauai Complex Area Superintendent, Paul Zina, provided an update from the Hawaii Department of Education regarding the plans for the 3rd Quarter.
Paul Zina announced that Kauai Complex Area Schools would revise the current models for the 3rd quarter of the 2020-21 school year. The program actions include:
- Continued blended learning for elementary students
- The start of blended learning for secondary school students
- Full distance learning remains an option for students
- Schools will continue to meet the needs of students with special needs
