Event Title: Climate Adaptation and Action Plan Open House and Student Film Screening
Presented by the County of Kaua’i and the State Climate Commission
Join us on Friday, May 2nd from 5:00 to 7:45 PM at the Kaua‘i Community College Fine Arts Room for our very first Open House for the Kauaʻi Climate Adaptation and Action Plan (KCAAP) and a Student Film screening.
What’s Happening:
- Get a first look at the County’s draft Climate Adaptation and Action Plan — featuring 79 bold strategies to guide how we adapt to climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
- Watch five powerful short films on climate change, created by University of Hawaiʻi students who bring heart, insight, and urgency to the screen.
- Engage with local organizations at booths and learn how you can get involved in projects that make a difference.
- Stick around for a panel discussion with local climate leaders driving real change on Kaua‘i.
