Kauai Ag Community Invited to Free Conservation Resource Workshops
January 15, 2025 – January 17, 2025
Are you interested in conservation for your farm or land? The Natural Resource Conservation Service’s Kauai team is hosting a series of workshops for local farmers, ranchers and foresters to provide information about U.S. Department of Agriculture conservation programs, financial and technical assistance, farm loans and programs, crop insurance, soil health and more.
The workshops are free to attend. Representatives with Kauaʻi Soil and Water Conservation Districts will join USDA agencies, such as the Natural Resources Conservation Service, Farm Service Agency and Risk Management Agency, to provide information on financial and technical resources available to farmers, ranchers and foresters to help them conserve soil, protect water and provide wildlife habitat.
Three workshops are available, and their dates and locations are as follows:
- West Kauaʻi Farmer, Rancher & Forester Resource Workshop
Date: January 15, 5:00pm – 7:30 p.m.

Date: January 16, 5:00pm – 7:30 p.m.
Location: Kauaʻi War Memorial Convention Hall, 4191 Hardy St., Lihue, Hawaiʻi, 96766 - North Kauaʻi Farmer, Rancher & Forester Resource Workshop
Date: January 17, 5:00pm – 7:30 p.m.
Location: Anahola Clubhouse, 3900 Kawelo St., Anahola, Hawaiʻi, 96703
