2024 Ho’olaule’a No Ka Honua: A Celebration for the Earth

April 8, 2024

Join us for a free ‘Ohana Day event, Ho’olaule’a no ka Honua, A Celebration for the Earth, on April 20th from 10 am to 1 pm at Kauai Community College (KCC).

This cross-organization collaborative event, hosted by the County of Kaua’i, Office of Economic Development, Kaua’i Community College, and Kaua’i Economic Development Board, aims to improve long-term sustainability by familiarizing Kaua’i residents with islandwide efforts that they can get involved in.

The day’s agenda is filled with opportunities to connect to more than 20 community-based organizations and learn about agricultural and conservation efforts on Kauai. This year’s event will include a small food truck cooking competition during the festivities. Competition plates will cost between $5 to $7 and participants will get a chance vote for their favorite dish for the People’s Choice Award. .

Please contact Ana Española at aespanola@kauai.gov or Niki Kunioka-Volz at nkvolz@kauai.gov for additional information or to sign up as a volunteer.
