The Hawaii Department of Education announced on Aug 27th that they would be extending the Learn from Home Distance Learning through the entire first quarter of the school year. This extends the Learn from Home policy by three weeks. You can read the full press release from the Hawaii Department of Education here.
According to the Hawaii Department of Education press release, during the Learn from Home phase, schools will continue offering learning hubs on campus to provide connectivity for students who need it. The Department will continue to work closely with state, county and health officials to assess if and when students can safely return to in-person blended learning models.
