Polystyrene Ban
County officials are notifying food providers that effective Jan. 1, 2022, the use and sale
of polystyrene foam food containers will be restricted per Ordinance 1079 Article 27, Chapter 22.
Tier System eliminated
Mayor Derek S. K. Kawakami has issued a new emergency rule repealing the County’s Tier system restrictions while maintaining guidelines on professionally organized events.
